Recorded on a Tascam 244 cassette 4-track and mixed onto cassette. Pressed on 7" vinyl at the famous 'Porky's'. The original master tape has long since disappeared, so this is taken directly from the vinyl. There are some slight crackles on some tracks...
This was due to be released on Timebox records, but unknown to us at the time Timebox records was in a state of collapse. I had paid for the pressings, but the deal for Pinnacle to distribute had not been done by Jon Fat Beast (RIP) so the record had no distribution. I re-labelled it CS CV, (Cheapsound Cheapvision) which was an underground label featuring avant garde experimental noise duo, The Mudguards, who I joined with for while on bass. Many copies were distributed for free through the House Of Dolls fanzine.
The original cover had an incorrect spelling of 'wunde'. it was printed as 'vunde'
In the 80's and 90's a lot of people were dumping reel to reel tape machines in skips which I and others salvaged. They were ideal for making giant tape loops running through several of these machines at once. One of these had a tape left on it. It was a very personal record, by a woman clearly suffering from an eating disorder, and depression associated with it. It haunted me and I have used parts of it on this recording and some others as well i.e. 'Fascination', from the BFD Tapes album, and also mainly featured on a track by Haarlem, soon to be uploaded to Bandcamp (Martin Wattinger and Richard Coldman)
